We're located just a few blocks away from Carmel Beach and Downtown Carmel. You can also walk to the Carmel Mission Basilica Museum and the Mission Trail Park in minutes. In Downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, Ocean Avenue offers visitors a chance to explore unique boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants. Carmel Beach
Our inn just is a stone's throw away from the soft, white sand of Carmel Beach. You can spend the day surfing, exploring the Scenic Bluff Path, playing volleyball, or just lying on the beach and taking in majestic views of the Pacific Ocean. Like many other parts of the city (and our inn), Carmel Beach is dog-friendly, so you can let your furry friends enjoy the beach off-leash. The beach has a free parking lot on Ocean Avenue, and there is also free street parking on Scenic Road and Camino Real. Getting Around
Whether you fly or drive to Carmel-by-the-Sea, you'll be able to get around most of the city by walking. If you've brought a car with you, we offer free parking on-site. Though there are time limits, the city has ample street parking. There are also three public parking lots at Carmel Beach. If you don't have a car but would like to venture outside of Carmel, both Uber and Lyft are available.
